A Glittering Christmas

I had the pleasure to work with the beautiful jewellery brand Missoma for their 2020 Christmas campaign. I was asked to create a range of Christmas snowy scenes to use as backdrops for their models and jewellery. Their wonderful team then created animations and festive sounds over the illustrations. This is the first time my illustrations have been animated and I love the end result!

Above you’ll see a preliminary sketch of the indoor cosy fireplace scene, followed by the final illustration.

I love the movements of the fire and candle in the animation, it really brings the scene to life.
I’d love to cosy-up with a book in this room!

I loved illustrating this street scene in particular. As with all buildings and doors that I draw, I like to imagine who may live behind the walls. Each building in itself also has its own personality with its particular architectural characteristics and colour of the exterior. Missoma added in their lucky customers inside the windows to really liven-up the whole scene.
