The House on Hawthorn Road

 

The House on Hawthorn Road features my most recent book cover illustration, and it’s a cover I’m very fond of as it was such a delight to work on an illustration that was a little bit darker and spookier than usual. It features the two main characters, Robbie and Beth. Robbie is from the 1950s, and Beth lives in todays world. Magical cracks appear in the walls of Hawthorn Road, and there ensues a story of time travel and a unique friendship. It is a wonderful story by Megan Wynne, and published by the lovely people at O’Brien Press. In all book stores now. ~ Rachel x
